While playing regular jazz gigs in the Marybrough, Hervey Bay and Sunshine Coast area Pippa was pleasantly surprised and encouraged by the audience response and frequent requests for a recording of her work; the result being her album “It Had To Be You”.
It Had To Be You was recorded in Sydney at James Morrison’s studios with John Morrison (featured artist at the 2010 Dingo Creek Jazz Festival) as engineer and features a stellar cast of internationally acclaimed musicians including Bob Barnard (trumpet) with arrangements by George Golla.
